Description

The 2010 World Amateur Chess Championships is a 9 round event open to anyone rated under 2000 (World Rating or US Rating). This is the first time that a World Championship is coming to the Chicago area and the first time in over a decade any World Championship will be in the United States.

We hold a variety of chess events from amateur tournaments to professional tournaments. We also held the first match between a US player and a top Armenian Woman player (IM Irina Krush vs IM Lilit Mkrtchian).
